Wagner Stempel

Daniel Wagner is one of the growing number of young German winemakers who are making wines of the highest quality in an area which has been overlooked for decades. He has an outstanding site in Siefersheim in the pure, weathered porphyry of the Hollberg and Heerkretz vineyards – which qualify as Grosses Gewaches or Grand Cru in the VDP classification. The estate also has organic certification and are considered the leading estate in ‘volcanic’ Rheinhessen.
