Maturation in stainless steel and traditional large oak barrels of German oak. Selectively handpicked from several vineyards in and around Siefersheim, predominantly sandy clay soil over a subsoil of decomposed porphyry rock.

Clear, pale yellow colour with a light green tinge. Intense aromas of ripe apples, pears and quinces. Dry, fresh and invigorating acidity, high extract and minerality, medium body, very well balanced.
