Peninsula Vinicultores / Bodegas Fontana

Located in Ucles, at altitudes of 700 to 900 metres, Fontana Bodegas y Vinedos make a diverse range of organic, varietal and estate wines. This is achieved in partnership with Peninsula Vinicultores which is run by a highly experienced multinational team of wine professionals including Andreas Kubach MW and Sam Harrop MW. The aim is to produce interesting wines that represent a modern interpretation of local wine growing traditions, conveying a true sense of place while offering outstanding quality and value.

Mesta and Merinas are available to the on and off trade respectively. Dominio de Fontana are from grapes only grown on the estate and are blends of international and indigenous varieties.

The Oveja are a series of white and red wines from experimental plantings. The Mountain Wine Project in the Sierra de Gredos and Sierra de Gato are reinvigorating older vineyards and the communities who farm them.
