Learn More About This Wine
A blend of Gamay, Cabernet Franc and Grolleau from Anjou Noir, Loire Valley. From 20-45 year old vines, on schist/quartz soils. Whole bunch infusion and natural fermentation in tank, aged for 10 to 12 months in wood conical vats.
Aromas and flavours of red fruits, herbs and spice. Very fine, well-integrated tannins. A delicate and supple wine.
Named after the Pacific Island in French Polynesia. From the winemaker – “The languor of oceans… A concentration of finesse and tenderness for this red that one approaches like stepping onto a peaceful, mysterious island and wants to explore.”
