Nat Cool is naturally “cool and funky”. It represents an innovative concept initiated by Niepoort, in which various producers came together to create light, easy-to-drink wines. In the Bairrada region , the first Nat Cool was created, where they showcase a different and elegant side of the Baga grape variety.
The Nat Cool 2022 comes from various old vineyard blocks. The wine was fermented in stainless steel for 5 weeks and remained in stainless steel until bottling. It was bottled unfiltered.
Light and lively in colour, on the nose it is fresh, floral, with notes of herbs and cherry fruit. On the palate it is juicy, light and crisp, spicy, with a slight sweetness and astringency that makes it approachable and easy to love! Serve chilled – naturally cool!
Serve with light and simple dishes as well as comfort food.
