BlankBottle Master of None
Learn More About This Wine
The baseline of the wine is on the lighter side of life. It is very much a red wine, but the contribution of the white grapes to the mid palate is what makes this wine special. A chilled red that is going to entertain throughout many occasions.Â
For this multifaceted blend some of the red grapes are destemmed and others are left as whole bunches. They are fermented spontaneously in open top fermenters and then aged in older French oak barrels for approximately 10 months. The white grape components are pressed as whole bunches with no additions and fermented and aged for 10 months on lees in a variety of different vessels including French oak, amphora and concrete tanks. The blend is made after 10 months.

BLANKBottle’s biggest production red, it’s halfway to being a rosé, with layers of rooibos tea, hibiscus, plum and wild strawberries and fine-grained tannins.
