Grown in Castiglione Falletto at an altitude of 300-350 metres, soils consists of marls of Sant’Agata Fossils with presence of sand, total surface area is about one hectare. 

Harvested by hand in baskets towards mid-October. Selection of grapes, light crushing, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature with frequent pump over and delestages. Maceration for about 20 days. Followed by ageing from 30 to 40 months in traditional oak barrels and then a further ageing in bottle. 

Fragrant, playful nose, reminiscent of rose and violet, followed by raspberry and a hint of dried herbs. Fresh and elegant on the palate, delicate and animating, great interplay of acidity and tannins, elegant finish. (Falstaff reviewed Oct 2025)
