The Pinot Noir grapes come from a lieu-dit, La Noue.. Situated at a lower elevation, the vines lie on limestone with a slim layer of clay. The maceration is done with whole bunches, no destemming, in cement vats, lasting for around 3 weeks. The wine is matured in oak barrels for 12-14 months and a further 4 months in bottle.Â
Rich fruit, black cherry and assam tea and silken tannins, medium bodied and having remarkable freshness.
