Capanna

The Capanna winery is located in the Montosoli area arguably one of the most famous cru of Montalcino. It began bottling its own wines in the 1960s, and a were also one of the 25 founders of the Brunello di Montalcino Wine Consortium. Production, initially a few thousand bottles, gradually increased with the planting of new vineyards, reaching its current 25 hectares, all farmed and certified organic. The Capanna winery has always been exclusively family-run; today, it is in the hands of Patrizio and Amedefter Brunello di Montalcino DOC was recognized in 1966, theyo, representing the third and fourth generations, who personally oversee the agronomic and enological aspects.
