L'Enclos de Peralba
L’Enclòs de Peralba was started in 2017 by Leo and Roc Gramona, of the renowned Penedès sparkling wine family Gramona. The project got its name from the white calcareous soils of the hills where the winery is located. They buy most of their grapes from experienced old farmers around the area, these are growers that also work in a sustainable way, with most respect for the environment.
Penedes offers a huge variety of weather and soil conditions, which is why they are focussing on making single-parcel wines with local grape varieties which express the region the best, showcasing a “distinctive flavour of their landscape”.
Building on this they use minimal intervention in their small cellar, they separate each parcel and vinify individually and age either in barrel or concrete tanks before bottling.
