With a schedule for replanting on all 30 hectares at Chateau de Cerons, younger vines are used to make La Quille, a good Graves red, one for friends and simple enjoyment. La Quille is found at the most cheerful tables in Paris and Bordeaux and is now available in Ireland!
A nose with notes of red fruit and subtle spices. In the mouth, there is cherry, slightly minty, smoky spices. A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. Alcoholic fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel vats. Gentle extraction with successive rounds of pumping over. Running-off and transfer to stainless steel vats for malolactic fermentation. Aged in stainless-steel for six months.
