Prieler has a longstanding reputation for great Pinot Blanc and we regard it as one of the finest expressions of this grape made anywhere.  There is a variety of expositions and soils; the whites are on fossil bearing limestone, Johanneshohe is iron rich brown loam and Goldberg, mica schist flecked with gold, producing one of the most important world class wines in Austria. The estate is managed by Georg Prieler.
