In the Austrian wine culture village wines have always been a way to characterize the climate and geology of the vineyards surrounding the respective village. The Rieslings from Zobing are therefore showing the structured and tightly knit personality of its terraced vineyards, in which primary rock and permian soil are the fundamental aspects. 

Zobing represents the upper, more narrow part of the Kamp valley appellation. Here grapes tend to build a focused and long lingering acidity, giving these wines a concentrated fruit driven clarity, balanced by a long, intensely mineral finish. Zobing village wines have great ageing potential and finesse, making them also elegant food companions. 

Zobing is representing the typical village character of the upper part of the Austrian Kamptal appellation. It stands for vibrant and animating fruit, with tightly knit, carrying acidic structure.
