Made from vines of an average age of 45 years, harvested by hand and aged on the lees for 7 months. Pont Caffino is located on “granites” of Château-Thébaud or granodiorites (it is a granite that is slightly metamorphosed, halfway between granite and gneiss). In terms of soils, granodiorite produces draining soils.
The Cuvée Pont Caffino offers a fresh Muscadet, fruity with the light pearl of the “sur lees” as well as a richness more pronounced than on a more classic Muscadet. It is especially appreciated with refined seafood as well as more flavourful dishes.
