Goliardo Tintos Del Mar
Learn More About This Wine
A blend made from rare red grapes from the Atlantic coast. The white clay found in the sunny Goliardo vineyards are full of decomposed fossils and minerals – only 220 metres away from the sea from the villages of Dena and Valinas. The vines are 45-90 years old.
Harvested by hand and destemmed, each variation is vinified separately, with natural yeasts in small open steel tanks without temperature control. Maceration lasts for about 15-50 days. Punching down by hand every day to gently extract the tannins. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in oak barrels where it matures for 12 months before blending. The wine is slightly filtered during bottling but not clarified.
Fresh berry and peppery scent. Medium-bodied with very fresh acidity, crunchy tannins and a tasty finish.
