Geil Riesling Geyersberg Langenwein
Learn More About This Wine
The Geyersberg, with its medium-heavy, carbonate-rich loess soils and calcareous subsoil, is one of the best locations. The south-facing, wind-protected terraces on which the vines are planted produce wines of exceptional power, fruit, and richness every year. It makes very fine Rieslings with immense clarity, citrus fruits and ripe yellow peach with a wonderful spiciness. Powerful yet juicy on the palate, with fine, soft fruit and wonderful acidity, and a long finish. A harmonious Riesling that unfailingly combines intensity with finesse!
Almost unlimited possibilities in food pairing; a mild Thai yellow curry or Indonesian Rendant (beef stew with coconut milk and many spices) can be fun but for a more classical approach, a nice piece of fish like red mullet with mediterranean vegetables or a veal steak with sage in white wine sauce.
