Forjas del Salnes

Rodrigo Mendez makes not just great Albarino but also much rarer Galician reds. Forjas des Salnes began as a garage winery in 2005 and was named after the ironworks set up by Rodrigo’s grandfather.

To understand the true potential of the grapes Albarino, Caina, Espadeiro and Loureira Tinto and the region Rias Baixas it is simply essential to taste these wines.

As a separate project, Bodegas Rodrigo Mendes is the small project from Rodrigo Mendes where he makes more Albarino, under the name of Cies.
