Bottazzi

The family run vineyards are at the final slopes of the Ligurian Piedmont Appenines. The main grape variety is Timorasso, a part of the Piemontese heritage which is being rediscovered. Post phylloxera Timorasso was largely replaced by Cortese but plantings are on the increase again. This grape gives complex full bodied wines with honey, spice, floral and citrus flavours, a nutty and creamy texture and exceptional acidity.
