Rheinhessen is Germany’s largest and most varied wine region, offering great scope to the younger winemakers who work its vineyards. Some of the “Jungen Wilden” – or wild young things – formed a group “Message in a Bottle” to promote the new dynamism and individuality of the Rheinhessen’s up-and-coming stars. Johannes Geil is a founding member and his philosophy is “Wine is to be drunk and fun to be had”. Consequently, his wines are both expertly crafted and deliciously easy to drink!
