Eichinger

Birgit Eichinger, as a winemaker, exercises great care, consistency and flair, while being deeply rooted in her homeland – the Kamp Valley. Her wines are the embodiment of elegance and strong character. Since its beginnings in 1992, the winery has enjoyed continuous growth and currently farms 15 hectares. The wines have a fantastic spectrum of the herbal and peppery flavours most associated with Gruner Veltliner. 

With approximately 4000 hectares of vineyards, which extend along the Kamp River, the Kamptal wine region is undoubtedly one of the most important white wine regions of Austria. Since the enormously complex and spicy Gruner Veltliner and Riesling clearly represent the flagships in qualitative terms, these varieties were also selected for the protected designation of origin Kamptal DAC.
