Ca'n Verdura

Tomeu Llabrés founded the groundbreaking garage-winery Ca’n Verdura Viticultores, which specialises in “viticultura en miniatura” and the recovery and exploration of old Mallorquín grape varietals and vineyards. In the north-central part of Mallorca, in the heart of the historic village of Binissalem, he established his micro-winery in 2012 in a former car garage. With an unwavering commitment to preserving historic vineyards and native grape varieties, Tomeu has shown the island’s extraordinary potential by producing some of the most innovative wines in the Balearic area.

Tomeu Llabrés is a true viticulturist who practices low impact viticulture and minimal intervention winemaking by using polyculture to promote biodiversity in his parcels and environment and by leaving the cover crop in place throughout the cold season. His wines are created by hand, without any alterations, additions, or subtractions. With every cuvée, his main goal is to show as much respect and openness as possible for his region and culture, as well as for the consumers who drink his wine.
