Ca'n Verdura

Tormeu Llabres makes his wines in an old commercial garage in the village of Binissalem on the Island of Mallorca. His mission is to maintain old vineyards and reclaim island varieties. Gobelot trained vines are worked without herbicides, the Levante wind which blows across the island makes this possible. In the winery it is natural yeasts, low sulphur and a mix of medium to large ageing vessels (steel and wood). Production, like the garage it is made in, is small, multiple vineyard plots are fermented individually.
