Learn More About This Wine

The nose is expressive and fruity, with aromas of cherry, wild strawberry and chocolate. The palate is juicy and gourmand, offering fruity aromas, velvety tannins and a smooth finish with cocoa notes. 2019 is a wine of style and depth, a wine of balance, power and purity. The wines are ripe, rich and aromatic and they have remarkable precision.

A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot. Cold maceration for two to three days. Vinification for 20 days, gently pumping over, followed by malolactic fermentation in concrete vats. Maturation for twelve months in 50% new barrels and 50% barrels from the previous vintage.

“Well judged Cérons majoring on gentle but well expressed and focused blackberry and cassis fruits, lovely fresh mint finish with grip and pliable tannins. This is a great example of the effortless balance that Graves can deliver in the right hands. 50% new oak. Drinking window 2021-2034.”  Jane Anson, Decanter. Note: 91/100
