Langenlois is the centre of the Kamptal appellation. It represents the lower situated aspects of the Kamp – valley (Kamptal) appellation. Grapes ripen to full maturity here and lead to wines with a little more spiciness and broader shoulders. Loess – Alpine calcareous soil deposited over hundreds of thousands of years also serves the typical character of these wines, a balanced body with power, but also elegance.
