Learn More About This Wine
The Moutonne vineyard is based in a natural amphitheatre in the heart of the Grand Cru of the Chablis area. The vineyard’s shape and ideal location make it a natural solar receptor, located 95% in Vaudésir and 5% in Les Preuses. La Moutonne is a monopole, meaning Long-Depaquit is the sole owner, with its south/south-eastern exposure and a steep slope of almost 40%, this vineyard is protected from northern winds. The wine shows fleshy fruits, peach, and nectarines, with discreet notes of citrus and florality of jasmines and violets. The wine is full bodied and generous with a very distinctive marly minerality.
