From Styria in Austria and its winery over the border in Slovenia, Tement has forged a reputation for great Sauvignon Blanc. The winery sits on a plateau above the single vineyard Zierreg. In conversion to organic, it will be certified from the 2018 vintage (2019 vintage Domaine Ciringa).

A comparison of all four wines listed shows marked differences in site and winemaking.

The Klassik is light, fresh and fruity while the Grassnitzberg is classified as a Premier Cru and Zieregg as a Grand Cru site. The Ciringa which is made in Austria but comes from their vineyards in Slovenia is on the same plateau as the Zieregg.
