This 200 hectare, organically farmed estate lies north of Abruzzo, behind the walled city of Ascoli Piceno, and belongs to one of the oldest families of the Marche. The Falerio is from Trebbiano but draws on local varieties Pecorino and Passerina for more interesting floral, herbal and delicate notes. The Rosso Piceno, which is 90% Sangiovese and 10% Montepulciano, is a challenger for many quality wines in neighbouring Tuscany.
