The drawings for Sasta are by Fintan Taite, an award winning Irish cartoonist and illustrator who lives and works in Dublin. The wine is pleasant to drink, intense and full of Douro character; it is fresh, fruity and spicy with smooth tannins.

Grapes were destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperatures for approximately one week. A portion of the wine was matured in French oak barriques whereas the rest of the wine remained in stainless steel for about 6 months.

The wine has an intense ruby colour. Earl grey, black berries, hints of graphite and a subtle minty character gives the wine complexity and freshness
