Barbara Boyle MW
Barbara was born into a very good port and sauternes vintage. She first encountered wine on a school trip to the Loire. She spent ten years working as an accountant, which facilitated a modest cellar, wine studies and travels. In 2001, Barbara completed a WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits, and became a Master of Wine (MW) in 2016. Her Research Paper was on the effect of serving temperature on the sensory attributes of Ruby and Tawny Port. Barbara is responsible for wine buying, communications and finance. Ben Mason
Ben was born into an off year for wine – but was not deterred from pursuing a wine career. He first studied in Germany and Scotland, then returned to Ireland to work for Searsons Wine Merchants from 1997 to 2001. He subsequently co-founded the Wicklow Wine Co. Ben has held a WSET Diploma since 2000, and his command of the German language extends to fluency with Riesling. The WineMason Portuguese portfolio was a result of Ben and Barbara’s first meeting – then marrying – in Porto. Austria followed, and then a growing brood of wines from other countries. Hélène Le Meur 
Hélène, hailing from Brittany was born with an innate love of wine. Working in the restaurant trade for many years, Hélène honed her customer skills and her palate. Her experience working with customers and developing an understanding for what they want to drink has led her to become part of the WineMason sales team. With her continental charm and belief that the glass should never be half but always fully full (of wine), she will guide you towards the wine you’ve been looking for. Gareth Kirwan 
Gareth comes to us with buckets of experience. Having worked 10+ years in hospitality, from award winning Gastro-pubs to Fine dining establishments in Melbourne and Ireland, he then made the move into wine sales and completed his WSET Level 3 (Advanced). Benjamin Russell

Benjamin is the latest addition to the team. From a predominately restaurant background, he has lived in London and New York but has now returned to his native Dublin. He spent the lockdown doing an MA in Gastronomy and Food Studies at TUD with a thesis on Irish Farmhouse cheese.
