New Wines – List Updates

Vignoble

As soon as you publish a list it is invariably out of date. Since April 2015 we have added 35 new wines, new producers and new regions. Some vintages have also changed.

We have a selection of magnums and larger formats in whites and reds from Germany, Austria, Portugal and Bordeaux.

The South African Portfolio has been extended to include Sauvignon Blanc from the high altitude vineyards of Cederberg and Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon from Ghost Corner in the coastal region of Elim. There are also new wines from Stellenbosch, “Bordeaux blends” and Cape white blends from Keermont and De Morgenzon as well as a Syrah from Keermont and a Reserve Chenin Blanc from De Morgenzon. Some wines are may be more suited to Coravin lists and the premium section of a list.

We introduced new wines from Domaines Albert Bichot at the beginning of October to include Domaine Long Depaquit Chablis at all appellation levels and a selection of wines from the Cote d’Or; Gevrey Chambertin, Aloxe Corton, Meursault, St Romain, Savigny Les Beaune. There is also an affordable Coteaux Bourguignons.

In Portugal there are some additional wines from Niepoort, a premium white Douro, Coche, as well as new reds from Dao and Barraida. Also new are several whites and a red from Vale da Capucha in Lisboa.

For retailers we have a new label, Merinas  Verdejo and Merinas Tempranillo.
